OnlyLocal Privacy Policy
OnlyLocal helps travelers find local restaurant options in Japan, request availability checks, and ask Yuki questions grounded in OnlyLocal restaurant data.
This policy is a practical beta policy for the OnlyLocal iOS app. It should be reviewed before broad public launch or use outside the current beta.
Information We Collect
- Name and reachable contact details when you submit a restaurant request.
- Restaurant request details such as date, time, party size, selected restaurant, notes, and request reference code.
- Questions and constraints sent to Yuki, processed to answer from OnlyLocal restaurant candidates.
- Product interaction events such as onboarding progress, paywall views, checkout events, reservation request flow events, and attribution tags.
- Purchase and entitlement status provided by RevenueCat and Apple's in-app purchase systems.
How We Use Information
- To provide restaurant shortlists, request checks, backup options, and support.
- To operate Yuki answers from OnlyLocal restaurant data and avoid generic or invented recommendations.
- To understand app funnel performance and improve traveler UX.
- To manage payment access, restore purchases, and prevent misuse.
Reservation Requests
A restaurant request is not a confirmed booking. We may use your request details to check availability paths, prepare Japanese request language, provide backup options, and contact you about status. We may need to share relevant request details with an operator or service provider helping process the request.
Yuki AI
Yuki answers from OnlyLocal restaurant candidate data. We do not ask Yuki to invent restaurants, live availability, opening hours, prices, policies, or booking certainty. Questions may be logged in hashed or summarized form for quality and abuse prevention.
Analytics and Attribution
We collect product interaction events and sanitized campaign or creator attribution tags. These events are used for analytics and app improvement. They are not used for third-party tracking, and OnlyLocal does not sell personal information.
Third-Party Services
OnlyLocal may use Apple services, RevenueCat, hosting providers, AI providers, and workflow tools to operate payments, APIs, support, analytics, and request handling. These providers process data only as needed to provide the service.
Retention
We keep request, support, and analytics records only as long as needed for app operation, support, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and product improvement. Beta logs may be periodically deleted or exported during testing.
Your Choices
- You can choose not to submit a restaurant request.
- You can choose not to ask Yuki questions.
- You can request help, correction, or deletion by contacting support.
